Steve Tyink leads Miron’s experience-based design efforts, assists with process and lean improvement and adds elements of innovation to business development and corporate strategies to differentiate the Miron brand. Steve also applies his expertise to serve as a resource to partners seeking ways to create innovative facilities that encourage an emotional attachment for their own customers and employees. While with Miron, Steve has assisted in the creation of thought-leading, innovative customer experiences within multiple industries. Some of these innovations include several patented spaces including: America’s first Orthopedic Recovery Inn, the new model for Women’s Health Care, the financial mortgage studio concept, customer pods, and the hospital of the future—the new Langlade Hospital.

Steve, Tonya Dittman and the Miron team have developed more than 40 tools that help to identify the concepts and resulting behaviors that create the essence of employee, manager, customer and community attachment. He has presented as keynote speaker for more than 70 national conferences and has authored more than 45 articles and book chapters regarding leadership strategies and attachment practices. Steve is co-author of the bestseller, Monkey Business: Seven Laws of the Jungle for Becoming the Best of the Bunch is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stout, and is both a LEED AP BD+C and an EDAC Accredited Professional.

Steve is also active with several community groups and boards. He is currently the president of the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation, is involved with the YMCA of the Fox Cities, and is active with the Pacesetters Running Club and PADI.
