Project Description:

Aspirus opened this new Craftsman-style ambulatory care facility in Rhinelander to accommodate patients in the northern portion of their market area. This single-story facility features a dramatic lobby with a 30-foot fireplace in the main waiting room, and current space for seven providers to practice in two procedure rooms and 21 exam rooms. In the future, by adding the pre-planned additional six exam rooms and extra procedure room, five additional providers can be added to the practice.

Aspirus also plans to add an ambulatory surgery center in the future and shelled space for two procedure rooms, two preparation bays and four recovery bays. The operating rooms will be added to the west of the current facility as demand increases for procedures.

During the planning process, Miron collaborated with the Department of Transportation to accommodate a traffic study for the site and relocated a retention pond to provide safer access for patients.
