Project Description:

When the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin chose a contractor for their new facility in Wausau, WI, they trusted Miron Construction to deliver the quality, safety, and value they needed. This new, three-story, 62,710 square-foot clinic provides a full suite of services to clients through the latest equipment and most advanced procedures available.

The building’s main level offers a laser correction suite featuring exam rooms for adult and pediatric patients, advanced eye-mapping equipment, and the latest in computer-guided laser technology. Services included in the clinic include LASIK eye surgery, cataract services, medical glaucoma treatment, neuro-opthanology, comprehensive medical eye exams, treatment for diseases of the retina and vitreous, pediatric eye care, corneal disease treatment, eye injury and emergency care, and fitting services for glasses and contact lenses. The third floor of the clinic has physician’s offices with a green roof patio which overlooks the Wisconsin River. The lower level houses medical office space with additional space reserved for future expansion.

As part of the project, Miron modified the site to accommodate accessible parking and a new entrance drive allowing easy access to the new clinic. The buildings which previously housed the eye clinic were renovated to allow for other uses.

“Our new building and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. All of us have thoroughly enjoyed our relationship with Miron Construction during this building project. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile are much appreciated. Every day that I walk into this building reaffirms that we made the right choice for our general contractor, Miron Construction.”
