The new Forest County Potawatomi Executive Building encompasses executive offices, a courthouse, a 40’ rotunda entry, and an auditorium. The new building provides the necessary space for expansion, allowing for the inclusion of the courthouse, and presents one location for all tribal meetings. The circular design of the auditorium and rotunda provides for a unique design element. The rotunda even ties further to the heritage of the tribe through the inclusion of 40’ timbers that rise up three stories, used to create the look and feel of a tepee. The unique design allows for a truly “one-of-a-kind” look that has the ability to capture one’s eye while still paying homage to the heritage of the Potawatomi Indian Tribe.
