Project Description:

The new 212,000 square-foot high school is a well-planned facility to serve both the school district and community. Including the community center area, the square footage is almost twice that of the old high school. There are 42 general classrooms, two art rooms, five computer labs, 10 technical education rooms, a music wing, a 587-seat auditorium, a large IMC, and a gymnasium.

Construction Highlight - The building’s HVAC system is a dual duct system, which consists of hot and cold ductwork and ice-making capabilities for air conditioning. The system is monitored on numerous levels to track gas and electric consumption.

The existing high school was renovated into a middle school with an addition of office space for district administration/staff. Renovated areas included computer labs, science wing, Art Department and Technical Education Department, intercom system, and the high school administration office space.
