The renovations include functional and aesthetic modifications, safety elements like a secured entry and a fire sprinkler system, and energy efficiency improvements such as the conversion of the existing building and all new areas to a geothermal heating/cooling system to reduce operating costs, a new roof, and significant electrical and plumbing upgrades.

Outdoor improvements include resurfacing and expanding the track from 6 to 8 lanes, new restrooms and storage facility, and improved water drainage and retention system for the entire site.
