Project Description:

The two-story building addition’s “pavilion” design sets it slightly apart from the main building. The building houses the freshman core design program and second-year architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design studio classrooms that facilitate interaction and exploration of ideas. The open studio classroom environment is organized around a central core space that functions as a flexible experimentation space. The project also creates a “living laboratory” that demonstrates sustainability and sustainable design to the students learning in the facility.
