Situated in northern Wisconsin, the congregation desired a complex that was fitting to the Northwoods. The master plan complex included the Phase I church, parish center, and infrastructure site work for the Phase II Fellowship Hall and Phase III Education Center.
Eagle River is a popular vacation destination and the church population swells in the summer months. Therefore, the nave space needed to be flexible; expanding in the summer months to seat 1,000 yet be intimate during the winter months for 600. This was accomplished by providing two wings, each seating 200, that can be closed off with movable walls for a smaller space. When open, the extended seating still feels part of the entire assembly.
