Miron upgraded HOV’s facilities by installing new processes utilized by only a few facilities in the nation: Actiflo® and Biostyr®. Construction was completed on a severely constrained site.
The Actiflo® structure was built after demolition of another existing structure, and the Biostyr® structure was built in a small free area on the site. Two large concrete above-ground process tanks were constructed to facilitate these new processes.
The team also installed above- and below-ground process piping, built an electrical service building and installed a new electrical service, rehabilitated existing process equipment, and converted existing structures to support the new processes being installed.
The team was able to complete the project without shutting down operations or affecting workflow.
