Owner: Mequon-Thiensville School District
Size: 170,000 SF addition / 160,000 SF remodel
Completion: August 2000
Architect / Engineer: Bray Associates Architects, Inc.

Project Description:

Miron worked closely with Bray Associates in the design and construction phases to deliver the largest single high school addition and remodeling project in the State of Wisconsin at the time of project completion.

The project expanded the following functions at the High School: competition pool, field house, fine arts center including auditorium, science wing, IMC expansion, guidance/office, and cafeteria. The project also included remodeling of the following spaces: kitchen, connecting links, classrooms, complete HVAC, plumbing and electrical upgrades.

The project was completed over two years and phased to allow for normal school activities without disruption. Cost savings during design and construction enabled the District to increase the pool size versus upgrading the existing pool and complete a variety of maintenance upgrades throughout the complex.
