Project Description:

The new UW-Oshkosh Alumni Welcome and Conference Center (AWCC) was built to serve as a welcoming “front door” for visitors to the UW-Oshkosh campus and as a resource for the University’s more than 83,000 alumni. The facility houses three University departments, two satellite offices, a visitor’s concierge and a high-quality conference center. Consistent with UW-Oshkosh’s demonstrated commitment to sustainability, the facility’s design and construction was awarded Gold LEED Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The AWCC features:

  • an 8,000 SF, 500-person ballroom
  • a great hall with a two-story fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Fox River
  • four 40-person breakout rooms
  • an executive board room with state-of-the-art technology that seats 36, and additional 14-person conference room
  • offices that house Alumni Relations, the Business Success Center, and the UW-Oshkosh Foundation
