Owner: Hortonville Area School District
Size: 80,068 SF
Completion: August 2014
Architect / Engineer: Blue Design Group, LLC

Project Description:

The new three-section K-4 elementary school alleviates overcrowding, allowing the two existing over-capacity elementary schools to revert to using appropriate spaces within the capacity of the school’s design. Because the school is designed for future expansion to four sections, it provides immediately-needed instructional space, and prepares the district for growth. A geothermal heating/cooling system reduces both energy use and operational costs.

Testimonial:
"From the beginning, we knew the schedule was extremely aggressive, but Miron worked tirelessly to maintain the schedule and work through any potential issues that may have affected the completion. The team was in constant communication with our staff, and understood the needs and priorities for getting the schools ready to welcome our students in the fall. Our students will enjoy these beautiful facilities for years to come, and Miron Construction guided us every step of the way."
