This project involved the relocation of a Damrow Filtermat dryer and all associated equipment from Albert Lea, MN to the Jackson, WI facility. Removal of the dryer and equipment was completed by Miron in less than two weeks during a planned plant shutdown at Albert Lea. Modifications at the Jackson plant included the addition of a process silo, pads, process vestibules, and a new dryer tower. The 14’ x 60’ horizontal dryer was rigged and set in place by a 250-ton crane. All installation work was completed while the plant was running with no lost production time. Miron completed all equipment installation and was also responsible for check-out and start-up.
