Project Overview

FCPC Renewable Generation, LLC, owned by the Forest County Potawatomi Community, owns and operates this food waste-to-energy facility in Milwaukee, WI. This facility converts liquid and solid food wastes to biogas through an anaerobic digestion process. The biogas fuels two 1.0 MW generators to produce a total of approximately 2.0 MW gross electrical power output, which will be sold to WE Energies, the local electrical utility. Miron Construction held the entire contract for the project, providing permitting support, design engineering, equipment procurement, construction, and start-up and commissioning.
