Project Overview

The High School “gymnatorium” was doing double duty as school gym and venue for concerts, plays, musicals, assemblies, presentations, in-services, and community programs; it was less than ideal, and overbooked with a long waiting list. A successful referendum endorsed the construction of a new, modern performing arts center that has:

  • Seating for 700
  • Theatrical lighting, sound, rigging, and video systems
  • Dedicated lobby with restrooms
  • Dressing rooms, storage, and scene shop
  • Ticket booth and coat check

The new spaces at the High School provide additional resources and enrichment opportunities for students and the community.
