The High School “gymnatorium” was doing double duty as school gym and venue for concerts, plays, musicals, assemblies, presentations, in-services, and community programs; it was less than ideal, and overbooked with a long waiting list. A successful referendum endorsed the construction of a new, modern performing arts center that has:
- Seating for 700
- Theatrical lighting, sound, rigging, and video systems
- Dedicated lobby with restrooms
- Dressing rooms, storage, and scene shop
- Ticket booth and coat check
The new spaces at the High School provide additional resources and enrichment opportunities for students and the community.
