Project Overview

This expansion project includes a new classroom and gymnasium addition to the existing Hemlock Creek Elementary School building. Construction is load-bearing masonry in all locations except the gymnasium, which has precast wall panels. In anticipation of future upward expansion, all roof areas (except the gymnasium) are precast plank. Site work on this project includes a new parking lot with asphalt pavement, site utilities, and landscaping.

Miron completed the original elementary school in 2007. Further growth necessitated this addition to the existing elementary facility. Hemlock Creek eases crowding at the district’s other elementary school and allows West De Pere Middle School, which served students in grades 5-8 in the past, to maintain its 6-8 grade format.
