Mental Health Matters
You’re Not Alone. We’re Here.
The construction industry is facing a major mental health crisis, and it’s one that affects us all.
- Construction has one of the highest suicide rates of any major industry in the U.S.
- Five times as many workers die by suicide each year compared to workplace injuries.
- Construction workers are especially vulnerable to suicide due to a number of risk factors.
That’s why Miron Construction is committed to supporting the well-being of all team members through access to mental health resources and a safe, supportive workplace culture.
We’re in This Together
Tomorrow Needs You
We may feel alone sometimes, but there’s more connecting us than we realize. Mental health affects every crew, role, and family. By sharing our lived experiences, we can raise awareness, reduce stigma, and help lower suicide rates in construction and beyond.
Your presence matters. We’re in this together, and tomorrow truly needs you.

Mental Wellness Challenges
Small Actions That Support Mental Wellness
Mental wellness is built through everyday habits, meaningful conversations, and looking out for one another. Explore the challenges below and download a checklist to get started.
Redefining Tough
Traditionally, “tough” in construction meant pushing through pain, staying silent, and never showing weakness. The Redefining TOUGH challenge encourages participants to rethink what strength looks like through simple actions that support mental wellness, self-care, and meaningful connection.
Building on Progress
Strong relationships are the foundation of healthy teams and safer workplaces. The Building on Progress challenge encourages participants to strengthen connections through intentional check-ins, meaningful conversations, and small actions that help others feel supported and valued.
