Signing Day

For many students, graduation is just the beginning. After completing a youth apprenticeship and selecting a trade, they take the next step by signing on as registered apprentices with Miron. Through career signing day celebrations, we recognize their hard work and commitment to building a future in the skilled trades.

Registered Apprenticeship

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to joining the trades. Whether you’re a recent graduate or exploring a new direction, registered apprenticeships offer a pathway to a rewarding career in construction. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and ongoing training, apprentices build the skills needed for long-term success.

Take students on guided tours of active project sites to explore construction phases, safety practices, sustainability, and more. Students see how teams, technology, and planning come together to turn blueprints into finished buildings.

Bring construction professionals into the classroom to discuss careers, industry trends, technical skills, and more. Presentations can be tailored to your curriculum to make learning more relevant and engaging.

Give students hands-on experience with activities like building models, exploring materials, and practicing basic construction skills. Students develop practical skills and learn what goes into quality craftsmanship.

Let students plan, design, or manage a real or simulated construction project with guidance from our team. Students strengthen teamwork, problem-solving, and project management skills while learning how construction projects come together.

Use virtual reality (VR) or computer simulations to let students explore a project from planning through completion. Students can safely interact with each project stage and better understand how projects flow from idea to completion.

Bring construction professionals together to share their career paths and answer student questions. Students hear different perspectives, explore career options, and get answers that can help guide their next steps.

Help students explore energy efficiency, waste management, sustainable materials, and other environmental considerations. Students learn how sustainability shapes modern construction and are invited to contribute ideas.
