More Control with Fewer Surprises
Self-performed work may be a strong fit when your project priorities include:
- Maintaining control of schedule-driven work
- Enhancing quality through direct field oversight
- Simplifying coordination across multiple trades
- Responding quickly to design changes or field conditions
- Creating clear lines of accountability throughout construction
When self-perform capabilities align with your project priorities, Miron becomes more than a construction partner. Our experienced crews, field leadership, and specialized equipment work seamlessly with the broader project team to enhance coordination and deliver quality results.
Why Miron
Self-Perform Advantages that Reach the Whole Project
A self-performing contractor is, by nature, more proactive about anticipating and resolving issues because they’re the ones performing the critical tasks. That advantage shows up in cost, schedule, quality, and safety alike.
Safety
With self-performance, it’s easier to maintain clean-up and safety oversight because we’re solely responsible for the entire site. We control the schedule for building enclosures, helping us eliminate water infiltration issues like mold before they start.
Cost Savings
When we self-perform on a project, the owner captures the savings, not Miron. If a project comes in under the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), the difference is returned to you. It’ll be available for your requested changes or reallocated elsewhere in the project.
Schedule Control
Because we control our own crews and equipment, we can manage the critical drivers of your project schedule directly. This is increasingly important as more owners require fast-tracked projects with shorter deadlines.
Quality Assurance
The structural frame sets the trend for the rest of the project. Self-performing this core work lets Miron apply strict quality control early on, setting the standard for everything that follows.
