Safety & Risk Manager of the Year – Jamie Brzezinski
Jamie is a certified safety professional with more than two decades of experience in the field of risk management. She admirably represents Miron Construction on the Zurich Women in Construction Roundtable, which alone is a testament to her expertise and devotion to her craft. In her role with the industrial project teams at Miron, she assists with identifying potential losses and develops systems to manage and eliminate those risks. She is a key player in creating cost-effective solutions to complex risk challenges posed to project teams. Jamie uses her ability to connect with others as a foundation for building a culture of care and trust with the professional tradespeople, subcontractors, managers, and clients she serves. She has also been heavily involved in Miron’s annual Build Like a Girl event, where dozens of school-aged girls learn about the construction industry through hands-on experiences.
Women on this list have achieved excellence in their respective fields, have influenced other women to pursue construction careers, have opened doors for women in a variety of job settings that historically were closed to them, and have served their profession or community in a manner that has benefited the construction industry.
