Two Miron Construction employees recognized with 2026 Daily Reporter Newsmakers of the Year awards

Two Miron Construction Co., Inc. employees have been named Newsmakers of the Year by The Daily Reporter. The Daily Reporter annually recognizes people, companies, or organizations that led Wisconsin’s construction and design industry in a positive direction as Newsmakers of Year. Below are excerpts from each award submission.

Super Super of the Year – Steve Lenz, Project Superintendent

Being a leader as a project superintendent goes far beyond managing daily construction activities. A true construction leader sets the tone for the entire project site and ensures safety, quality, and production are always at the forefront. “Simply put, Steve consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership,” said a longtime colleague. “And it starts before we even put a shovel in the ground. He is responsible for going through the drawings, understanding what’s being built, collaborating with team members and subcontractors on the best way to build the project, and helping the project manager create the schedule off that information. If he doesn’t do that right, the project is off the rails before we even get started.”

Unsung Hero of the Year – Christine Bohl, Marketing Manager

Some professionals make an impact through visibility while others do so through influence. Christine Bohl has spent more than a decade quietly shaping Miron Construction’s success by elevating the quality of work, empowering those around her, and creating a culture of connection, all without ever seeking recognition for herself. Christine serves as one of the organization’s most trusted writers, editors, mentors, and problem solvers. Her official responsibilities include managing workflow, coaching and leading team members responsible for crafting proposals and interview presentations, and ensuring projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality. Yet her true impact reaches far beyond her job description.
