Miron Construction Co., Inc. adds personnel at corporate headquarters
Neenah, Wis. – Miron Construction Co., Inc. recently hired three new employees for its corporate headquarters in Neenah, Wis.
Brandon Blank has been hired as a regional risk control manager. He has worked in the construction industry for 6 years, most recently serving as a construction safety manager for a producer of iron ore pellets in northern Minnesota. Brandon is graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology Management. Brandon’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the development of site safety plans, the coordination of pre-planning efforts for superintendents and project managers, training employees on job-specific hazard recognition and injury prevention, performing safety audits and acting as an on-site safety representative. In essence, Brandon will provide support for Miron’s field operations, enhancing production while controlling risks to Miron’s employees, clients and their facilities, equipment and the public. Brandon, his wife Amber and one-year-old son Tate, currently reside in New London, WI.
Julie McCarthy was hired as an accounts payable clerk. She has worked in the construction industry for 17 years, most recently working as an accounting assistant at Spancrete. Julie will be responsible for a variety of accounting activities including, but not limited to: prompt review and entry of invoices, check runs, proper allocation of costs and other related general accounting support duties. Julie, her husband John and daughters Jordan and Shea Leigh, currently reside in Menasha, Wis.
Amber Sell was also hired in the accounting department, as an accounting professional. Amber has seven years of experience in the construction industry working for a general contractor headquartered in Green Bay, Wis. Amber received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in General Business with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Amber will be responsible for a variety of accounting activities including, but not limited to: prompt review and entry of invoices, check runs, proper allocation of costs and other related general accounting support duties. Amber and her fiancé, Brian, currently reside in Allouez, Wis. and will be getting married this June.
