Project Overview

This district-wide school building and improvement program includes the construction of Red Creek Elementary, a new 2nd – 5th grade elementary school on a portion of the current Forrest Street Elementary School site, enabling the removal of portable classrooms at both existing elementary schools.

Two additions at the High School included a new secure entrance, new commons, and an agricultural classroom and greenhouse. Renovations updated the kitchen and servery, the existing science classrooms and labs, and special education spaces.

The project also provided secure entrance renovations at Forrest Street, Gebhardt, and the Middle schools; site improvements at Forrest Street; demolition of the obsolete Third Street Elementary School, and redevelopment of the site for greenspace.
