Project Overview

The Marshfield Area YMCA completed a significant addition and renovation project to better accommodate the health and wellness needs of the children, families, and adults living in the Marshfield community.

Additions to the facility include the new Everett and Delores Roehl Youth Center and the new Roehl Fieldhouse. The Youth Center houses the Youth Net after-school program, Wood County Head Start, and the Marshfield School District’s alternative school. New childcare facilities, classrooms, a kitchen, outdoor playground, and youth center are all features of this new space.

The new Roehl Fieldhouse houses three basketball courts and an elevated walking track. The project also includes a new strength and fitness center, a new lobby and welcome area, and a new state-of-the-art Healthy Living Center that provides 24-7 access plus wellness consultation and fitness testing, additional training equipment, and renovated exercise rooms.
