Project Overview

MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena (formerly MidMichigan Health) is undergoing a major expansion, adding a three-story patient tower addition to its existing facility. The tower features 60 new private patient rooms, including eight intensive care unit beds, eight labor and delivery rooms, and 44 medical/surgical/telemetry beds. The 100,585-square-foot addition also houses five operating rooms, 18 prep and recovery rooms, as well as flex space.

In their words…

I’m writing this to convey my pleasure having Miron Construction work at our organization here in Alpena, Michigan. We are over halfway complete with our beautiful, new patient tower. The changes we see daily excite us. Miron has, from the beginning, shown a very high level of quality construction, rock solid safety on the job, a constant level of communication with the owner for concerns whether it’s on their part or ours, and a willingness to tackle and solve issues in a way I have not seen on a larger project in my 29 years here.
I truly feel any company that chooses to work with Miron will be more than satisfied.

-Dennis Kindt, Manager, Facilities Operations, MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena
