Project Overview

The Schneider Stadium Athletic Complex is the practice and competition venue for football, soccer, and track and field at St. Norbert College.

The new athletic complex includes a stadium with a capacity for 2,500 spectators, an 8-lane, 400-meter track with an all-weather surface, appropriate areas to conduct all field events, an artificial turf field for football and soccer competition, and a locker room building with lockers and showers to accommodate more than 200 home and visiting athletes.

The new location also makes it easier for students and visitors to attend athletic events. The infrastructure of the new complex certainly improves the experiences for athletes and spectators with the inclusion of:

  • press box with 34 spaces for journalists, coaches, and game administration staff
  • ticket and information booths
  • paved parking lot with capacity for 500 cars
  • men’s and women’s restrooms
  • concession preparation and sales areas

In their words…

"In regards to the weather challenges on the stadium project, we were truly impressed with how the project team was able to somehow overcome them and deliver on time. We view Miron's staff as an extension of our own; Miron is so concerned with our daily operations and the impact of any construction project on neighbors. We appreciate the fact that Miron is always more than willing to be our partner and to be more than willing to do things St. Norbert College's way when they can."

Eileen Jahnke, Former Vice President, Business and Finance, St. Norbert College
