Brown County STEM Exterior

Brown County STEM Innovation Center

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Developed by the community for the community, the Brown County STEM Innovation Center was constructed to secure the region’s manufacturing future by addressing the shortage of technically skilled workers, creating an essential pipeline that will achieve improved economic development in Northeast Wisconsin. Owned by Brown County and built on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus, the Center will encourage students of all ages to become involved in STEM vocations, ensuring new generations have opportunities to become tomorrow’s innovators.

This one-of-a-kind space serves a variety of purposes and people, with four different building tenants: UWGB’s Richard J. Resch School of Engineering, The Einstein Project, Extension Brown County, and Brown County’s Land and Water Conservation departments.

In addition, the facility houses office space, a full-size professional kitchen, a lab, a green roof, an on-site greenhouse, and a warehouse building.
