Ground broken at new Presque Isle band shell site

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – On Monday, the city of Marquette broke ground on Presque Isle for an update to an iconic building. The current Presque Isle band shell was built almost 100 years ago. Now, musicians are looking forward to a bigger venue in which to play.

Miron Construction will begin tearing down the old band shell Tuesday. Project Manager Trevor Richards says the new band shell should be completed this coming fall.
