We are committed to providing a work environment that is not only healthy and productive, but free from hazards. At Miron, we work under the philosophy of SQP: Safety, Quality, Production. This integrated approach to the building process guides our daily decisions and work, ensuring project-wide accountability in all three categories.
Our employees are provided with the most comprehensive safety training in the industry. Miron’s project teams, which include risk control managers, develop site-specific safety plans and provide direct oversight of risk management, documentation, and training.
In addition, every employee is involved in the safety process and is charged with the responsibility to observe, identify, and immediately correct unsafe acts or conditions. Leadership at Miron has made the health and well-being of employees a priority by creating an employee self-care program, offering a holistic approach to the traditional wellness program that typically focuses solely on physical health. Instead, the focus is on creating a multi-faceted journey of well-being and growth.
Our wellness coordinator’s approach creates human connection with the goal of strengthening the five essentials for workplace mental health and well-being: protection from harm, opportunity for growth, mattering at work, work-life harmony, and connection and community. Employees are guided in developing and reaching their personal goals to help them become the healthiest version of themselves through relationship building, motivation, and positivity.
