UW-Green Bay’s new library hits high point in construction with ‘topping out’ ceremony
Posted by Miron Construction
Construction on UW-Green Bay’s new library reached a milestone Wednesday.
The campus held a topping out ceremony for its five-story, $101 million Cofrin Technology and Education Center (CTEC). Dozens of UW-Green Bay faculty, staff and students, along with community members and construction workers, signed the final structural beam.
“A topping out ceremony is a time-honored tradition in our industry. It’s not about celebrating the progress, but it’s about celebrating the people that made this progress,” said Miron Construction CFO Dean Basten.
Miron Construction is leading the project.
