Victory for the Polar Bears and Bluejays!
Miron would like to congratulate the Hortonville Area and Menasha Joint School Districts and their communities for placing high priority on the safety and quality of their learning environments. On April 2, both districts passed significant referendums to improve existing facilities and/or construct new facilities to meet their changing educational needs.
- The Hortonville Area School District passed a $25,455,000 referendum allowing them to construct a new elementary school, a high school addition and remodeling, a middle school addition, and a new transportation facility.
- The Menasha Joint School District held a successful referendum for $29,950,000 enabling the district to build a significant addition to the existing high school as well as undertake a major remodeling project to rejuvenate the rest of the historic building for 21st century learning.
Both districts began their processes with organized community input. Community members, along with staff and administration, worked together to analyze options and formulate the solutions presented for referendum. Miron is honored to have contributed to their successful planning and referendum efforts, and is excited to move forward as their construction partner.
