Calumet County shows new highway shop

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Calumet County Highway Building was held Saturday morning. Highway Commissioner Brian Glaeser spoke briefly recognizing those who had a hand in making the project happen, including general contractor Miron Construction. At 48,416 square feet, the $8.1 million facility, which came in under budget, is more than 21,000 square feet larger than the previous building which was torn down on the same site one year ago.
