Numerous changes are coming to Appleton’s parks with the goal of improved service for the community. Parks director Dean Gazza has details on numerous changes. Telulah Park may have the most noticeable one beginning this summer with construction of a $250,000 skate park project. Aldermen on Wednesday will likely sign off on hiring Miron Construction, the contractor with the lowest bid. Gazza said work could begin in mid-August and have activity by skaters and bikers yet this year.
