Dig in: Here’s the dirt on what to expect at this year’s Quarry Quest

Angie Schabo has been going to Quarry Quest since its inception 15 years ago. Each of the Neenah mom’s three children have had their own favorite activities over the years.

Hunter, now 15, loved laying bricks and riding in a dump truck. In addition to those activities, Tanner, 13, most enjoyed riding in a Hummer and later, fishing.

Autumn, 8, the only Schabo still attending the event, likes brick-laying and dump trucks like her brothers but also riding in the cherry pickers and picking out jewelry at Jewelry Jamboree.

Does the event ever get old for Schabo? No.

“I do like that they add new stuff every year,” she said.

There will be plenty of new things to experience at this year’s 15th annual Quarry Quest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 at Michels Materials Quarry in Neenah.
