Fox Cities Chamber honors businesses, owners
The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry will recognize outstanding business leaders in the community at its annual awards ceremony, The Event: Celebrating Business, at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel.
The Business Hall of Fame inducts business leaders who have gained recognition and honor for outstanding achievements in their industry. This year will honor John Bykowski, retired CEO of Secura Insurance; David G. Voss Jr., president and CEO of Miron Construction; and Leota Ester, founder of Landmark Staffing Resources. Bykowski’s work and vision turned Secura around, and at the end 2012, it was rated excellent by A.M. Best for the ninth straight year. Under Voss’s leadership, Miron Construction has been an integral part of the Fox Cities growth and boasts a team of individuals who sit on numerous community boards and are actively working to improve the community and help drive change. Esther started Landmark Temporary Service with a staff of four. Thirteen years later, 700 people work each week throughout the community.
