By late 2014, the Fox Cities will be home to a unique new facility expected to draw public safety professionals from throughout the U.S. for specialized classroom and hands-on training, says Susan May, Fox Valley Technical College president. Thanks to a nearly 2-to-1 endorsement by voters in April’s referendum, FVTC officials Wednesday joined local leaders and business representatives at a groundbreaking for the $32.5 million public safety training center at the south end of the Outagamie County Regional Airport.
