Governor’s Conference on Tourism shows off exhibition center

The Wisconsin tourism industry gets an up-close look at the Fox Cities’ newest attraction beginning Sunday, with the arrival of the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism. The event, expected to welcome about 1,000 of the state’s tourism stakeholders, runs Sunday through Tuesday at the new Fox Cities Exhibition Center built by Miron Construction. Along with putting the restaurants, bars, stores and attractions of the Fox Cities on display, Appleton has its new $31.9 million exhibition center ready for new eyes.
