Green Bay Packaging has broken ground on a new paper mill on North Quincy Street in Green Bay. On Wednesday, local and state officials gathered to celebrate construction of the first new paper mill to be built in Wisconsin in three decades.

The $500 million plant will replace the 71-year-old Green Bay Paper Mill. The company says the investment will keep 1,100 workers employed and create new jobs. Read more …
