Work is expected to begin next week on Green Bay Packaging’s new mill, a project that is anticipated to be one of the largest construction projects in the state for the next several years.

Miron Construction Chief Operating Officer Tim Kippenhan said the $500 million investment is equivalent to the cost to build Fiserv Forum, the new Milwaukee Bucks arena that opened this month. The project will put an estimated 1,000 construction and trades people to work next week when utility work begins, he said. Read more …
