Menasha fire station earns LEED award

The $1.3 million Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue station No. 36, built almost entirely with stimulus funding, has earned a LEED silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.Located at 1108 Province Terrace, the station that opened in April 2011 earned 58 points under the new construction rating system for LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
