Merrill aquatic center to open in June

The Merrill parks and recreation department has finished construction on the Bierman Family Aquatic Center and plans to open the new pool June 10.
Construction began on the center in July, after more than a year of planning following the closure of the community pool in 2012.The city has been without a pool for three summers.
