The newly renovated and expanded Gehl-Mulva Science Center at St. Norbert College has been awarded LEED® Gold certification. The LEED rating system, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the foremost program for buildings, homes and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained and operated for improved environmental and human health performance.
“We are tremendously proud of this recognition,” said St. Norbert College President Thomas Kunkel. “From the initial planning phase many years ago, we designed this facility with sustainability and energy efficiency uppermost in mind. Everyone on the Gehl-Mulva team contributed to attain this prestigious LEED Gold rating.”
