Miron Construction offers students a youth apprenticeship program in which they can gain hands-on experience. The goal of the program is to encourage students to take part in the trade and labor workforce.
De Soto High School graduate Hunter Obert joined the youth apprenticeship program to learn carpentry skills.
The youth apprenticeship program allows students to get a head start, said Rick Seeley, general supervisor of Miron Construction, which has offices throughout the state, including Eau Claire, and in Iowa.
