Miron Construction begins work on UW-Madison wastewater pumping station
Miron Construction Co., Inc., in partnership with Strand Associates, Inc., recently began renovating the Lot 76 wastewater pumping station on the UW-Madison campus. Crews began work on the $1.7 million project in August 2017 and it is expected to be complete in July 2018.
Miron’s scope of work on this project includes the demolition and disposal of existing equipment associated with the below-grade wet-well and dry-well wastewater pumping station.
Work also includes the construction of a new 800-square-foot building, as well as the installation of a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, dry pit submersible pumps, and new electrical controls and control panel.
