Neenah, Wis. – Miron Construction Co., Inc. recently hired three project managers, a regional risk control manager and a heavy equipment mechanic for its corporate office and yard operations.
Peter Dupuis has been hired by Miron to serve as a project manager. Peter has 34 years of experience in the construction industry; the last 24 working for a general contractor located out of Houghton, Mich. Peter earned his associate degree in civil engineering technology from Michigan Technological University. He is also a licensed medical first responder, a Michigan licensed builder and a Michigan storm water professional.
Mike Froelich has also been hired as a project manager. He most recently worked as a project manager for a Greenville manufacturer of conveyor systems, palletizers and all types of material handling systems. Mike graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
Kurt Wolfgram was recently re-hired by Miron to serve as a project manager. Kurt has eight years of experience in the construction industry, is a LEED AP-BD+C and is OSHA 30-hour certified. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout and an associate degree in architecture from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
As project managers, Peter, Mike and Kurt will manage all aspects of construction projects, including, but not limited to: preliminary estimates, budgets, financial control, scheduling, coordination of construction activity, project close-out and owner occupancy.
Todd Kaufmann has been hired as a regional risk control manager to serve out of the corporate headquarters. Todd has been in the construction industry for 24 years, most recently working as a safety manager for an electrical contractor in the area. He is an OSHA-authorized construction trainer and a graduate of the Associated General Contractors Safety Management course. Todd’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the development of site safety plans; the coordination of pre-planning efforts for superintendents and project managers; training employees on job-specific hazard recognition and injury prevention; performing safety audits; and acting as an on-site safety representative. In essence, Todd will provide support for Miron’s field operations, enhancing production while controlling risks to Miron employees, clients and their facilities, equipment and the public.
Jordan Gibson will serve as a heavy equipment mechanic for Miron Construction. He will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company’s logistics fleet along with the heavy equipment inventory of the company. Jordan previously served as a service technician for an equipment rental company and holds a degree in diesel and heavy equipment from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
