Miron Construction Co., Inc. opens Eau Claire Office

Miron Construction Co., Inc. announced that it will be opening an office in Eau Claire, Wis. to better serve the western part of the state. The new office, which will open in November 2015, will be located at 3402 Oakwood Mall Drive, Suite 200, Eau Claire, Wis. Click here to map it.

“Miron has a long history in Eau Claire and throughout western Wisconsin, but we feel it is critical to establish a stronger presence in this region of the state to both strengthen existing relationships and acquire additional work,” said David G. Voss, Jr., president & CEO of Miron Construction. “Our differentiated service offerings, such as sustainable construction, experience-based design and building information modeling (BIM) will be an asset to our clients and will allow our team to gain market share within the geographic area. Finally, Miron is a family-based company that strives to immerse itself within the communities in which we work. Therefore, we feel that it is vital to show our commitment to the region by becoming a more active part of it.”

Leonard Borgen has been promoted to the position of vice president, Eau Claire operations and will manage the new Eau Claire office. Borgen has more than 14 years of experience and leadership in construction management with a focus on project management. He has worked in numerous markets throughout Wisconsin, has completed industrial, healthcare and religious projects, and has direct experience estimating, scheduling, planning, and managing projects from schematic design through occupancy.

Borgen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology with an emphasis in building construction management from UW-Platteville. Prior to his promotion, he served as a project executive for Miron Construction for the past two years and held the position of project manager for seven years prior to that. He has been employed by Miron Construction since 2000.
