Miron Construction Co., Inc. set to host 12th annual Milwaukee Broomball Classic Event to benefit children through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee
Local teams consisting of five players each will gather for a day of friendly competition while raising money for disadvantaged youth in the Milwaukee area. Throughout the past 11 years, the Broomball Classic has raised more than $55,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
“Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is honored to be the charity partner of the 12th Annual Broomball Classic,” said Vincent Lyles, president and CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. “We are truly grateful to the generous sponsors and participants who take to the ice in support of our kids!”
This year’s tournament will feature two divisions (corporate “novice” teams and experienced teams) and attendees can also take advantage of raffle items and a bake sale. Equipment is provided, but participants are responsible for bringing their own helmets. Player fee is $30 per person.
In addition to Miron, sponsors for the 2014 Milwaukee Broomball Classic include The Daily Reporter, Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and Flannery’s Bar & Restaurant. For more information, please visitmilwaukeebroomballclassic
