Miron Construction Earns Platinum-Level Employee Friendly Workplace Designation from Fox Cities Chamber
Miron Construction Co., Inc. is proud to announce it has been designated a Platinum-level Employee Friendly Workplace by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, the highest level of recognition in the program. This milestone marks a significant achievement in the company’s ongoing commitment to cultivating a people-first workplace culture.
Only two years ago, Miron earned Gold-level certification, and since then, the company has invested intentionally in employee well-being, engagement, and development to further elevate the work experience. These efforts have now earned Miron the prestigious Platinum designation, a status reserved for organizations that exemplify the very best in employee-centric policies and practices.
“Achieving Platinum status is more than a milestone, it’s a reflection of the care we put into our culture every single day,” said Dan Voss, CEO of Miron. “Creating an environment where people feel valued, empowered, and inspired doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a shared responsibility – and shared pride – across every level of our company. We’re honored to be recognized as a Platinum-level Employee Friendly Workplace where careers in construction can thrive from start to finish.”
The Fox Cities Chamber’s Employee Friendly Workplace initiative recognizes employers that demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting work/life integration and a positive workplace culture. Platinum designees go beyond industry standards in categories such as workplace flexibility, employee engagement, professional development, and community involvement.
Over the past two years, Miron has launched and expanded several key initiatives that helped drive the leap from Gold to Platinum, including:
- Enhanced mental health support, including the launch of the Miron Mental Health Hub and QPR suicide prevention training
- New career pathway and leadership development offerings
- MiCare, Miron’s onsite health clinic (in partnership with ThedaCare)
- Increased employee engagement through Miron Makers, an online and in-person platform for employees who make items for sale or have other talents/services to share
“Our goal is to be the kind of workplace where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow,” said Dave Walsh, executive vice president, human resources. “This designation affirms that we’re moving in the right direction – and we’re not done yet.”
