Miron Construction employees donate more than 9,000 diapers to Jake’s Diapers through Wrapped in Love campaign
Hearing that one in three parents struggle to provide diapers for their baby, Miron Construction Co., Inc. challenged its employees and neighboring businesses to a diaper drive through the company’s Wrapped in Love campaign.
Diapers collected during the campaign will benefit Jake’s Diapers, a non-profit organization that solves diaper needs for infants, elderly and those with special needs. Neighboring businesses that also participated in Miron’s Wrapped in Love campaign include Evergreen Credit Union, Fox Crossing Fire Rescue, Kurz Industrial Solutions, the Wisconsin Institute of Urology, WOW Logistics, Xe54, Essity, and the Saint James Lounge. Overall, the companies donated 14,547 diapers (as well as 504 wipes and 69 changing pads) as a group to Jake’s Diapers. These donations will help 300 families in our community.
“At Miron, serving our communities drives our organization, and it’s phenomenal to witness our team members living out that mission,” said Jen Bauer, vice president of marketing and communications for Miron Construction. “To know that our employees suggested this diaper drive, handled the planning and coordination, and encouraged other organizations in our neighborhood to get involved instills such an incredible sense of pride in our team. To Miron, knowing that more families and children in our community will benefit from the comfort and safety of fresh diapers is what Building Excellence in our communities is all about.”
