Miron Construction exceeds United Way campaign goal for fifth consecutive year
For the fifth year in a row, Miron Construction Co., Inc. has surpassed its United Way combined corporate and employee campaign goal. Miron employees far exceeded expectations and the organization raised more than $180,000, a more than 70 percent increase from 2015.
“Miron had an outstanding campaign again in 2016,” Mike Weller, United Way Fox Cities 2016 campaign co-chair, said. “It’s clear that their entire team really understands the needs in the community and have significantly stepped up their level of contributions—impacting and benefitting the more than 100,000 people in the Fox Cities who receive support as United Way addresses our community’s greatest issues. In addition, I have to give special recognition to Dave Voss, who is co-chairing the overall United Way campaign for the entire community—he’s made a tremendous impact there as well.”
The campaign, which ran from October 6 through October 20, had more than 75 percent participation—a 16 percent increase from last year, with 1/3 of contributors donating $500 or more.
“I continue to be amazed by the incredible generosity of our team members,” said David G. Voss, Jr., president & CEO of Miron. “Their commitment to the growth and prosperity of the communities in which we live and work is genuinely awe-inspiring.”
